  12. This version is from  Jean-Michel  Jarre's "Images-CD". Originally Arranged
  13. for OctaMED Professional by Pasi Kovanen.   This version has been converted
  14. and arranged using Music-X by Kevan  R.Craft,  where the drums were  edited
  15. and velocity scaled taking the reference  points  from the Korg i3 Pop Rock
  16. Variation 1 drum MIDI data and emulated.  The Hi hat pattern from the i3 is
  17. used together with the  addition  of   percussion  on  MIDI Channel 11/ The
  18. Timbal  break in the  middle of  this   track  has also  been  modified  to
  19. include shaker  and  cowbell.  Moreover, the   Volume   fade at  the end of
  20. Orient Express left a lot to be  desired so this aspect has been cleaned-up
  21. by  employing  Music-X's  new  edit   facility  via   AREXX  which  enables
  22. accurately scaled CTL #7 data to  be produced using the "Interpolate slope"
  23. feature - the ending sounds pretty reasonable now..

  25. The remainder of MIDI channels note data has been velocity scaled from  127
  26. -128 to an average mean which  makes  for better transmitted notes..   Some
  27. instruments have been doubled-up such as  adding  a Fretless bass under the
  28. Synth Bass1 but lower in the background  to provide a deeper overall sound.
  29. Likewise, Strings,  Goblin and instruments  have  also  been doubled-up but
  30. lowered by an octave, this simply fattens the overall sound and produces an
  31. improved MIDI arrangement. The overall  arrangement uses  General MIDI (GM)
  32. instrument voices except the  Percussion on MIDI  Channel 11 which  employs 
  33. the Korg i2/i3  AMERICA  "Perc KIT" PGM #65, which  can  be  found  on  the 
  34. official Korg i2/i3 Bootup-disk...
